Following the idea to mark Italy by art history with iconic positions,
TERMINI echoes Giorgio di Chirico, Michelangelo Antonioni, and Carlo Mollino.
I photographed di Chirico’s apartment next to Piazza di Spagna, while having his paintings (with his architectural compositions) and the topic of loneliness in mind. Michelangelo Antonioni represents the Cold War Time in his films, this let me make photographs in E.U.R. Last but not least Carlo Mollino - the architect, designer, and photographer - is paraphrased in TERMINI. The work is a puzzle and mentioned as a time tunnel.
