Heidi Specker deals with Clara Schumann and her depiction on a 100 D-Mark note. Exactly 100 D-marks ushered in societal change at the time of the fall of communism as "welcome money".
Clara Josephine Schumann (* 13 September 1819 in Leipzig; † 20 May 1896 in Frankfurt am Main) was a German pianist, composer, piano teacher and publisher. Her career as a pianist, which she began as a child prodigy, focused on virtuoso piano works - including her own. She was Robert Schumann's wife from 1840 until his death in 1856. Their marriage was subject to judgement. Screen prints of macro images of the note, add up in 4 colours to a band of notes.
